Job Summary
The Order Management Specialist works with the Sales and Customer Service Team by ensuring customer sales orders progress from Order Entry through Shipping processes. This role requires strong ERP, specifically SAP, order management skills.
What will you do?
- Troubleshoot SAP issues with ATP (Available to Promise)
- Create deliveries when product is in stock
- Align and re-align sales orders and planned/production orders
- Update Shipping Plants as needed
- Identify SAP training needs that help support improved Order Entry and Order Management processes
- Monitor resolution of holds and blocks
- Attend weekly Quote-to-Cash meetings
- Participate as an active team member to key team and organizational projects as assigned
- Back-up and support team members during absences and/or heavy volume times
What will you bring to the table?
Education:
This job requires a high school diploma or its equivalent along with 3 years of experience in an office setting. It is preferred that candidates have worked in Customer Service using SAP. Must have general computer skills, be detail-oriented, and able to work effectively with people at all levels.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands, Travel, etc.
Most of this job is spent at a workstation under normal office conditions. There is a high volume of typing and computer work.
