Position: Application Engineer III
As an Application Engineer III, you'll be the go-to expert for our products and solutions, providing top-notch technical support to our representatives, distributors, and customers. You'll have the opportunity to work on complex problems, develop innovative solutions, and contribute to the success of our company.
What you'll do:
- Provide expert technical assistance via phone, email, and other communication channels
- Develop solutions to solve customer problems and achieve desired outcomes
- Select Turck equivalents for competitor parts and systems
- Assist in commissioning and troubleshooting Turck products
- Conduct feasibility tests and research for challenging applications
- Create technical documentation and provide training to internal and external stakeholders
- Handle complex cases requiring extensive product knowledge and excellent communication skills
What we're looking for:
- 4-year technical college degree with at least 4 years of related experience, OR
- 2-year technical degree with at least 6 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial work
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle technical issues over the phone
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in technical writing (preferred)
- Eagerness to continuously learn and master Turck products and solutions
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments
